New Act on the Profession of Psychologist

For nearly four years, as an attorney-at-law and psychologist, I consulted for the All-Poland Trade Union of Psychologists (Ogólnopolski Związek Zawodowy Psychologów) on the draft of the new Act on the Profession of Psychologist. The previous act from 2001 practically did not function in practice.

The union carried out extensive work to thoroughly understand the needs of the psychological community and the legislative provisions governing other professions of public trust.

Together with MP Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk, representing the Lewica parliamentary club, a new draft of the Act on the Profession of Psychologist was prepared. It was designed to be a solid project above political divisions and much needed in challenging times, opening the floor for public consultations.
